Remember to peer through the weeds to the
True beauty:
Nobility of spirit
They’re not just words
But the underpinning of a life worth living.
We are taught to loath ourselves
And make Gods out of
What we are not
Perpetually at a deficit of
self esteem
So we feel the need to strive
And we fall down worshipping at
Feet
That would stomp on us
snapping down
branches
Never meant to hold our weight
I won’t make a God out of youth
Money or things
What is beautiful never fades:
Nobility of spirit
Integrity
Truth
Justice
Learn how to see it
How to honor it
How to feel it
You laugh because your eyes
Are covered in dust
How beautiful do you feel?
Plant your flag in the unmoving soil
Of your soul
